【摘要】:Theserequirementscovera(a)fuseholdersforEdison-baseandTypeSplugfuses,(b)fuseholdersforClassCC,G,H,J,K,R,andTcartridgefuses,and(c)devicestoadaptTypeSplugfusesforuseinEdison-basetobeemployedinlightingandpowercircuitsinaccordancewiththeNationalElectricalCode.Theserequirementsdonotcoverfusedattachmentplugs,car-lightingcutouts,protectivedevicesdesignedforsignalingsystemsorinstruments,orfuseholdersforlinkfuses.ACTL(circuit-limiting)fuseholderisonehavingsuchphysicalsizeorconfigurationthat,inconjunctionwiththephysicalmeansprovidedinaClassCTLpanelboardorotherdevice,installationofmoreovercurrent-protectivedevicesthanthenumberforwhichtheassemblyisdesignedandratedwillbeprovided.Exceptasnoted,adevicethathasprovisionforconnectiontotheconductorsofmorethanfourcircuits,otherthanthecircuitoracontinuationthereof,isconsideredtobeandjudgedasapanelboardratherthanafuseholder.Adevicethathas(a)provisionforconnectiontomorethanfourbutnotmorethan12branchcircuits,(b)receptaclesforplugfusesonly,and(c)beendesignedspecificallyforuseinanenclosedbranch-circuitcutoutisconsideredtobeandisjudgedasafuseholder.Afuseholderthathasbeendesignedspecificallyforuseinandenclosedbranch-circuitcutoutorinapanelboardassemblyisjudgedwithrespecttotheintendedapplicationaswellasbeingjudgedundertherequirementsinthisstandard.
