【摘要】:Water-solublechloride,whenpresentinsufficientamount,iscapableofleadingtoinitiationoraccelerationofthecorrosionofmetals,suchassteel,embeddedinorcontactingacementsystemsuchasmortar,grout,orconcrete.Thus,itsdeterminationshallberequiredtoevaluatethepotentialofacementsystemforundergoingsuchreactionsortoinvestigatecementsystemswheresuchreactionhasalreadyoccurred.However,itmustberecognizedthatwater-solublechloridedeterminedatsomeparticulartimeinthelifeofacementsystemiscapableofbeingsubstantiallydifferentthanthatatanothertime;forexample,theserviceenvironmentiscapableofresultinginahigherwater-solublechloridecontentduetochangesinsolubilityoraloweroneduetoleaching.Testconditionsarecapableofaffectingwater-solublechloridedeterminations.Takecautionwhencomparingresultsfromthistestmethodwiththosefromothertestmethods.Sulfidesareknowntointerferewiththedeterminationofchloridecontent.Blast-furnaceslagaggregatesandcementscontainsulfidesulfurinconcentrationsthatarecapableofsuchinterferenceandproduceerroneouslyhightestresults.Treatmentwithhydrogenperoxide,asdiscussedinTestMethodsC114,isusedtoeliminatesuchinterference.Thereareaggregatesthatcontainchloridethatisnotavailableforcorrosion.Suchchloridewillbedetectedbyuseofthistestmethod.1.1Thistestmethodprovidesproceduresforthesamplingandanalysisofhydraulic-cementmortarorconcreteforchloridethatiswatersolubleundertheconditionsoftest.1.2Thetextofthisstandardreferencesnotesandfootnotesthatprovideexplanatoryinformation.Thesenotesandfootnotesshallnotbeconsideredasrequirementsofthisstandard.1.3ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasastandard.Withinthetext,theinch-poundunitsareshowninbrackets.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
